Randy and Lahey separately try to entrap Julian, and Lahey discovers evidence that could make him a police officer again.
Plot Synopsis[]
[]
Randy runs to Bubbles' shed asking for advice regarding his sudden attraction to Sarah. Bubbles shows him some websites on the internet and tells Randy that he is just attracted to 'whatever' and that he is normal.
Act One[]
Ted Johnson shows up at Randy's place with a problem. The police department is wondering why he is spending so much time at Sunnyvale. Ted says he needs Randy to run surveillance on Ricky and Julian in order to create the illusion that Ted has a reason to be there. He also lets it be known that he knows Randy used to be a prostitute. Randy is upset by the intrusion. The two of them walk to Cory and Trevor's store fishing for information, but they are rebuffed by Sarah. Ted leaves without Randy, as he is upset by the events of earlier. Sarah says in an interview that he doesn't think that the two of them will stay together, as Ted is just trying to control him and use him.
In an interview, Ricky says he is happy Lahey is drinking again because he is out of the way and there is no one to stop them except Randy, who they are not afraid of. However, even as Ricky and Trevor are stealing items from peoples' back yard in their 'recycling' scheme, Lahey secretly films them from the roadside.
Bubbles tells us that he is paranoid because of all the crazy changes in the park, including all the people getting evicted from the Sunnyvale.
J-Roc comes to Ricky's Used Shit to shop with his two baby-mamas, and talks to him about all the people getting thrown out of the trailer park. Ricky says that something is up with Randy.
When J-Roc returns to his crib, he finds Randy there packing up his stuff for eviction. After a heated discussion, Randy threatens to take his pants off and fight them, but J-Roc and T diffuse the situation, lectures and belittles Randy about the insensitivity of what Randy is doing, and then sheepishly relents.
Randy then moves on to the trailer of another local couple scheduled for eviction and harshly tells them to get the fuck out. Then he breaks a couple of windows on the trailer they inhabited and leaves.
Next stop for Randy is Julian's, where he offers Julian the trailer of the couple he just evicted. He blames the broken windows on 'some kids' and suggests that Julian can pick up replacement windows at a local hardware store. Julian takes the deal.
Act Two[]
Ricky complains that Randy is up to something, and suggests that they might be getting set up for something. Randy tells the camera that he is working on a sting to prove that Julian is stealing building supplies. Sure enough, Julian shows up with Cory and start the theft. Just then, Lahey drives up with his own surveillance camera and sees Randy also watching Julian. He notes that Randy is not being particularly skilful with his sting operation. Julian does notice Randy there watching him and confiscates his camera. Jim captures the whole thing on his video.
Later, Randy shows up at Jim's Trailer and tells him he evicted Bill and needs him to clean up the lot for Julian. Jim is appalled at Randy's heartlessness.
Cory and Trevor arrive back at the store, and they tell Sarah they were both working with Ricky and Julian. Randy arrives and asks Sarah to have a burger with him. Then he tells her that he has feelings for her, and tries to kiss her, but Sarah is only interested in being friends.
Jim shows up to clean the trailer for Julian and finds a box of films belonging to the previous owner. One is labelled 'Halloween 1977'. When he watches it, he sees that there is evidence on it that proves his dismissal from the police force was wrongful. He drives to meet with Julian and Ricky and, pretending to be drunk, passes out on the floor. But a moment later he drops the act and tells them all that the drunkenness was all an act, and that he has video footage that will put them away. He then drops some hints about the 1977 film he found and leaves.
Act Three[]
Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are interviewed regarding the events in the 1977 film Jim found. When they were kids, they dressed up as characters of Star Wars for Halloween. Julian, even as a kid, was drinking and Ricky and Julian decided to put the car out of gear and push it to see where it would go. It crashed into a trailer and Lahey arrives at the scene. He took Julian's liquor and while trying to move his police car, spills some of it on himself. Jim's partner at the time, George Green arrives on the scene, sees the car ploughed into the trailer, smelling booze on Jim, and assumes Jim is drunk. Confronting Jim, the two get into an altercation and it results in Jim getting arrested. The three boys realize that they are responsible for Jim's life taking a downward turn.
Jim strong-arms Ted Johnson at the police station into looking at the film he's found in order to get his name cleared and himself reinstated. After looking at the evidence, Ted says there is enough evidence to get him a hearing with the police board. But in order for any reinstatement to be considered he will need a character witness to make him look good in light of his history of drunkenness, arrests and mental issues. Jim suggests it could be Randy.

Rickyisms[]
"I'm not a pessimist, I'm an optometrist.
"If Randy thinks he's smartlier than me, he's wrong."
"...Luke Skywalker or Dark Vader or something." (referring to home-made Chewbacca costume)
Lahey's Shit Talk[]
"What's at work here is shit techtonics. When two shit planes strike and come together under incredible pressure what happens, Bubbles? Shit quake."
Background[]
Lahey's comment, "May the force be with you, and may I be with the force," is very clever since the boys were wearing Star Wars costumes in the film of Halloween 1977, and its emergence results in Jim being reinstated with the police force.
When discussing the events of Halloween 1977, each of the boys blames the idea of pushing the police car on someone other than themself, but as we can see from the film, it is clearly Ricky and Julian who do the actual act, since Bubbles was dressed as C-3P0, and C-3P0 is standing by watching while this is going on.
This episode also proves that Lahey was in fact truly sober unlike last season. He drops the drunk act when he was floating in the pool after Randy tell him of Bill's eviction and when he confronts the boys about the events of Halloween 1977.
