Helix are a Canadian hard rock/heavy metal band, formed in 1974. They are best known for their 1984 single "Rock You".
Helix was mentioned by Ricky to be the best rock concert he ever saw ("Closer To The Heart").
Real World Perspective[]
The band's track "Heavy Metal Love" was featured in Trailer Park Boys and was set to be on the soundtrack also, however licensing restrictions prevented this. [1] Lead singer Brian Vollmer has appeared in the franchise two times ("Closer To The Heart", Trailer Park Boys: The Movie).
Helix also performed at the premiere of Trailer Park Boys: The Movie. Ricky, Julian and Bubbles have also appeared on stage with Helix at least once. [2]
