The park is visited by two missionaries who cozy up to Julian and make Bubbles and Lahey suspicious.
Plot Synopsis[]
[]
Two nicely dressed strangers approach Bubbles, a father and a daughter introducing themselves as Hampton and Tanya. They state that they are missionaries. When they start asking him a lot of questions about religion and the Bible, Bubbles rudely brushes them off.
Act One[]
While Ricky studies for his grade ten exam, Sarah complains that he is so busy that they never get to spend any time together. Ricky promises that he will make the time. Meanwhile, Julian rifles through the remains of Bubbles' shed, and then visits Bubbles at his temporary lodging at J-Roc's van to apologize. Bubbles turns down another offer to stay at Julian's place, because he doesn't want to hang around with him and Ricky unless they stop growing dope.
Julian arrives to relieve Ricky at the Airstream so he can go to school. Ricky asks for the night off so he can take Sarah on a date. Julian resists, but eventually agrees and asks Ricky to show him the ropes in "dope-sitting."
Later, Tanya knocks on the Airstream door and introduces herself to Julian, but an unexpected bottle kid attack forces Julian to rescue her by bringing her into the trailer. When she sees the dope, Julian explains that they are hemp plants for making rope.
At J-Roc's lot, Jim Lahey arrives to tell Bubbles' he can't live in the van. J-Roc colourfully explains that it's an income property and lets loose a barrage of insults on he and Randy. They are all interrupted by the missionaries who are offering Bibles for sale. They are dismissed by Lahey who says there is no solicitation allowed in the park. Lahey vows to keep an eye on them both.
Later, Tanya brings her father to meet Julian. They are being spied on by Lahey and Randy and also Bubbles', who is hiding in a recycle bin. They all agree that the missionaries are bad news.
Act Two[]
Tanya's father grills Julian on his life goals, and whether he is seeing anyone at the moment. Bubbles eyes them suspiciously from his hiding place. Ricky gets out of school and meets Sarah at the shitmobile. They talk about their plans for later.
Later, Hampton manages to sell Ray a Bible, and Bubbles scoffs at both of them while passing by. Ricky arrives and Ray says the Bible is a gift for him. Ricky tries to borrow money from him to take Sarah out, so Ray gives him empty liquor bottles to return for cash, with the proviso that they both sit down and read the Bible together every day.
Bubbles tries to interrupt Julian and Tanya to warn him about her, but Julian is certain there is nothing to worry about. When Bubbles leaves, Tanya asks Julian out, but he says he has to watch the plants. With a little sensual manipulation, Julian relents.
Bubbles tries to interrogate Hampton, and Lahey arrives to formally eject him but Hampton says he was just leaving anyway. Bubbles then tries to talk to Ricky about Julian and the missionaries, but he is leaving on his date with Sarah, and Bubbles is again brushed aside.
That evening, while Ricky and Sarah are eating Chinese takeout in the shitmobile, they spot Julian in the next car over with Tanya. Ricky loses it and confronts him, asking him why he's not watching the plants. Tanya excuses herself and the two continue to argue. Both agree their respective dates are ruined because Ricky now has to go back the trailer and Tanya has disappeared.
When Julian makes it back to the Airstream first, he finds the entire thing has been cleaned out.
Act Three[]
Ricky arrives and sees that everything is gone, and flips out on Julian. Bubbles walks up and says that he can help. He has had Cory and Trevor follow Hampton. He also says even though he is upset with them; that he is still their friend, and there is a tender moment. Cory and Trevor arrive, informing them that the Hamptons are at The Slick Pimp, a local strip club. The dope is being stored in their van which is in the parking lot. Lahey then arrives and relates that other people have also been scammed and robbed by the fake missionaries. Julian vows to get everything back.
Tearing into the parking lot of the club, they hatch their plan. Cory and Trevor will hot-wire the van and return it to the park with its stolen contents and loot, while the rest will confront the thieves in the club. Inside, they find Tanya on stage stripping and Hampton cheering her on. They approach him and Hampton tries to make a break for it, grabbing Tanya along the way. Outside, a firefight breaks out, but the Hamptons run out of bullets. When the cops arrive, Lahey makes sure only the two thieves are arrested, and the stolen goods are recovered. Julian tries to talk to Tanya and explain how he feels used, but she tells him to fuck himself before she is carted away.
Later, J-Roc sets up Bubbles with free cable in the van, and Ricky and Julian come over to apologize one more time for burning down his shed. Bubbles accepts this time, and they all sit down with Cory and Trevor to watch TV

Background[]
- An initial clue to the falseness of the Hamptons' identity as missionaries: "Just as Jesus traveled from Shadrach to Meshach, to Abednego, we travel from trailer park to trailer park..." The three 'places' he mentions are in fact the proper names of the three men in the Book of Daniel who were cast into a furnace by Nebuchadnezzar, but suffered no harm.
- Another clue is when J-Roc indicates that he recognizes Tanya, to which she quickly denies and runs off. Clearly, he has been to the strip joint frequently and seen her working there, but is unable to connect the dots seeing her at this time.
- This is also the first of very few instances where Cory and Trevor are shown any true affection by Ricky and Julian, this time in the form of low-fives.
