The Drunk And On Drugs Happy Funtime Hour was aired on Showcase July of 2011. The show was written by John Paul Tremblay, Mike Smith and Robb Wells, but is not associated with "Trailer Park Boys". The show is directed by Paul Pope.[1]

Announced by Showcase in November of 2008, They had this to say about the premise of the series:
"The Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour opens as the boys 'wake up' after shooting has wrapped on their new TV series -- a children's show called The Happy Funtime Hour, filmed in the sleepy town of Port Cockerton. The production goes off without a hitch until RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson, hired to play a German scientist who teaches kids about nutrition, takes his role too seriously and assumes the personality of his character before turning evil and going on to synthesize and distribute a hallucinogenic drug from local blueberries."
Showcase also states the show is also borrowing influences from 'Monty Python', and 'The League Of Gentleman'. The three actors will portray numerous characters each in the show, and it also features Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson in a major role.
In early 2010 Lifeson decided not to be in the show, and Maury Chaykin took over his role as the Mad Scientist.
