Ricky holds Community Day in the park, while Jim tries to pose as the real park supervisor and win a prestigious award.

Plot Synopsis[]

Teaser[]

Ricky drives a front end loader into the park while Jim Lahey and Randy get dressed up in their best clothes. After a surprise bottle kid attack which doesn't appear to faze him, he explains his high hopes that today is going to be the day that things turn around for him and he finally defeats Ricky.

Act One[]

Ricky talks about Community Day, which is a park-wide party to raise funds for the down-payment on buying Sunnyvale -- also to make Bubbles happy. Julian wants Ricky to work for him, and says he is way too concerned with Community Day and needs to focus on the pot operation.

Barb Lahey brings a letter to Jim which says he's won a trailer park supervisor award. She says it's nonsense and scoffs at them. Jim tells her the award is genuine and wants her to pretend he is still the supervisor so he can accept the award, and she reluctantly agrees, taking pity on him and his situation.

Barb gives Ricky the day off as a reward for his hard work, and Ricky takes Bubbles to see his surprise: a homemade wrestling ring. Bubbles is overjoyed and goes to put on his "Green Bastard" wrestling gear.

The award presenters arrive, headed by Bernie Sanford, and they meet with Jim and Barb. They start a walking tour and talk about Ricky as the biggest problem in the park, 'thinking he is the supervisor' all the time. Community Day is underway and Bubbles is ready to wrestle. Lahey and company show up on the scene.

Act Two[]

Ricky approaches the group and faces off with Lahey and Sanford. Ricky wants them to move their cars, and Barb pulls Julian aside and lets him in on what's going on. Unphased, and noticing that no cars have been moved, Ricky urinates on Sanford's car. Sanford pulls him aside and threatens him with violence, then leaves.

Lahey orders food for his group, but Sanford is more interested in dealing with Ricky. Julian tells Ricky what's going on but Ricky doesn't want to go along with it. Julian says for him to be careful because they need to buy the park and harvest the dope for the downpayment. Ricky calms down and sends Cory and Trevor out to promote a 'wrestle the park supervisors' event to raise money.

Later, Trevor and Jacob wrestle as the first event and Lahey's food arrives on the scene. It is already paid for so Ricky and Julian take it and set up a ringside burger stand. Lahey's group return to the scene and Sanford wants to fight him if he doesn't step down. To settle it, Julian says they should wrestle for control of the park. Jim is reluctant, but is convinced by Randy that this is how they are going to defeat Ricky and Jim predicted.

Act Three[]

With Sanford refereeing, Randy and Jim square off with Ricky with Bubbles in a tag team match. During the first heat between Randy and Ricky, Bernie gets knocked out by a wayward blow, and Jim secretly hands Randy a foreign object to pummel Ricky with. Bubbles intervenes when he sees this illegal move, but Sanford disqualifies them both for having too many bodies in the ring.

Sanford gives Lahey the Park Supervisor's trophy and they both rub it in Ricky's face. Julian and Bubbles try to calm Ricky down, but Bernie gives Lahey a new used Cadillac as an added bonus and Ricky loses it. Bernie calls Julian 'alchie' (slang for alcoholic) and Ricky 'Reveen', so Ricky uses the front end loader to tip all their cars upside-down. His victory is short-lived, however, because when Lahey and Randy leave, they stake their claim to the supervisor's job... and the trailer.

Once Randy and Jim return to the trailer, Barb tells them the bank took her house and she will be living in the supervisor's trailer, not them. Lahey and Randy are relegated to a tent trailer instead. Bubbles returns to the ring and wrestles into the night.

"Being the trailer park supervisor's been a fulfillment kinda reward."

"I know right now I'm supposed to swallow my prize but I'm fucking pissed off..."

Background[]

This episode further explores how much happier people seem to be under Ricky's tenure as Trailer Park Supervisor, despite his poor decisions in park management. Of course, it should be noted that Ricky is caring for the park as cover for his dope growing operation, but nonetheless is still caring for the park. This is unlike Jim's tenure as Trailer Park Supervisor, which as of Season Two continues to go downhill in favour of his obsession of getting rid of Ricky and Julian, as well as his alcoholism.

  • Bernie Sanford can be heard ranting about Ricky to several individuals which includes Randy when Lahey is ordering take out.
