Ricky gets installed at the local vocational school to sell off the hash
Plot Synopsis[]
[]
Jim Lahey puts a 'for sale' sign on Julian's trailer. The plan is to hike up the price gradually. Lahey hopes this will cause Julian to break the law in order to raise the funds to buy it and keep his grandmother's legacy to him. Ricky wants to sell the hash and bail his dad out of jail, but Julian stops him. Lahey shows up to taunt them and give Julian the good news.
Act One[]
Julian and the boys try to come up with a plan to unload the hash. They decide to send Ricky back to school so he can sell it to the students and faculty. They drive to the Dartmouth Regional Vocational School to enrol him, but there are no openings for students. Ricky bribes the registrar with hash to give him the open position for janitor.
Julian and Bubbles visit Ray in jail and tell him that it will be a while until they can get him out. Ray is not happy.
Act Two[]
Lahey drinks and stumbles around, saying he will quit drinking when everyone is in jail. Ricky has decided not to tell anyone he is a janitor and let them believe he is really in school to learn. Lucy is impressed as a result. Ricky starts taking hash orders—the plan is to take locker numbers and break into the school at night, leaving the hash in the locker and take the money that will be left there. While tailing him, Lahey and Randy see him hauling garbage and take surveillance photos.
Back at the park, the boys compile their orders and prepare to make the drops, but Lahey is watching, and Julian sends Bubbles to distract him. Lahey warns them about 'shit-winds' and Bubbles gets worried.
That evening, the boys break into the school and start making drops, but Bubbles is freaked out by Lahey's earlier speech. They spread out and Ricky gets spooked in the bathroom by the auto-flushing toilet and accidentally fires his gun off. He suspects it's the 'winds of shit' haunting them and they all leave without making all the drops because the shots may have brought the cops.
Act Three[]
While leaving, they are indeed pulled over by police and Ricky talks his way out of it by telling them he is the school janitor and he was the one that made the call. The cops buy it and leave. Ricky complains that his heart doesn't feel good.
The next morning, Julian wakes them up and Ricky is ready to bail out his dad. Julian lies to him and says Ray wants to stay in jail a while longer. Ricky visits Trinity and Lucy, and is interrupted by Lahey who tells them all that Ricky isn't a student at all, he's a janitor and provides pictures as proof. Ricky kicks them out and apologizes to them for the lie, but Lucy says it's okay.
